Tiffin regatta
Rules & Registration
The Tiffin Regatta welcomes youth-based clubs, teams, and organizations to participate. The cost for your registration and materials will be sponsored by a local business thoughtfully paired with your group.
The Tiffin Regatta Champion will strut away with $2,000 for their organization.
The fabulous runner-up? They’ll snag a cool $1,000.
Get your family and friends there to vote, crowd favorite will get $500.00. Let’s not forget the best sinker award, they walk away with $500.00 as well!
Your boat(s) and paddle(s) will be constructed from:
(materials will be delivered to your organization’s build site)
• One sheet of 4’ x 8’ x ¼” plywood
• Two 2 x 4’s x 8’ long
• One pound of fasteners
• One roll of 2” x 60 yard Duct Tape
• No caulking or adhesives allowed
Boats can be painted and designed with any color(s).
Teams are required to promote sponsors somehow in the design.
The boat pilot must wear a life jacket and sign a Liability Waiver on the day of the event. Under 18, must have parent/guardian signature.
Boat pilots must not intentionally prevent or impede other racers from completing the course; violations will result in disqualification.
